[Mesmerize (1999)]

Damn, P-Bot got horny again. I guess it's good for what it is, The music is nice and the visuals are... titillating, to say the least. Though I do feel it kinda drags on. Not sure if the best contender for the 1st place of that day, but here we are

I thought this was going to be just a standard anime spoof, but color me surprised when it turned out to be an animation that is its own Youtube Poop... Thankfully I love Youtube Poops. I would love this to become a full-blown series, maybe slightly toned down with the goofs, I know this sounds weired and maybe even missing the point. I mean, not to the extend when it wold become unrecognisable. Still wacky, but with more moment where I would get out of my chair and worry if the heroes will make it.

The models look nice great here. Look how everything pops out. BAM! Here's the ultimate sword! BAM! Here's the ultimate vehicle! And I love me some goofy explosions! XD

Haha, you really got me there. Jokes aside, this does look promising and I would've loved to see a longer animation in this style, although Ellie's lips would be a slight distraction from the main picture.

Granted, I knew this wasn't going to be family-friendly fun for the whole family (alright, I thought that way for a while when I saw it on the front page xd), but it still caught me off-guard with how quickly the M rating reminded me of its existence. And it only kept surprising me and succeeding in making me uncomfortable... in a good way, I mean, that's the intended reaction after all.

Good god, just by by the first few seconds I didn't expect it to rock so hard. It's the most pure entertainment I got from an animation in a long time. So much personality in the characters, I love the dynamic between these guys and I already want to see more of their antics.
And I love the short style changes, I rewatched the movie just to see 4 dues with an appearance closer to real people.
Hats off to the VA of Cedric and Simon, I wouldn't be able to tell these two are voiced by one guy.

All the different media used to create this film and the attention to every detail make for an experience like no other. By the point the credits start rolling, you feel like you haven't even reached the halfway point and already wish for more.
